Fitted cardboard elements would be cool. Similar to apple unboxing experience. Care card and stickers would be fitted in cardboard and not loose in box
I got one of the coasters in my second order and I absolutely love it. It’s become a staple for my desk and I would to see small things like that or even a coaster collection in the future if that’s possible! Also looking forward to the maroon run club hoodies, keep up the great work!
Switch up the stickers! Could also make slightly higher quality bags that product come in… almost like nice ziplock bags w MNY design/ logo on it (probably slightly more $$ to make)
Higher quality bags are in the works!! Noted RE: stickers. Trying to have a steady stream of new graphics but I don't always have new graphic ideas lol
Hi Marcus, recently came across this blog and really love the information that you are putting out, super relatable and inspiring man so thank you keep it up. As someone who is trying to start his own brand, would you be able to share some of your experience about getting started ? How you came up with the idea to begin with, challenges that you faced initially etc?
I think it could be cool if each box came with some small mystery aspect. Maybe one order gets some patches or pins, bonus or different stickers, or even like samples of pre workout (like the small gatorade pouches). I guess anything random is cool, but I know not always do-able. Boxes are already top tier!
just received four pack necklace and love it! Can’t wait for the heavyweight canvas jackets. These are heavenly. I presume the beige one is gonna be sold out in a second
1. Agree with the comment about custom branded wrapping paper around clothing items. I've gotten that with orders from Street Grandma and i've kept the wrapping.
2. Agree about stickers! Everyone loves stickers. If you can't think of new graphics, you could contract that?? i have a minted sticker on my phone and i've had many people ask me about it so it's a good way to get the brand out.
3. Can I donate this year again for flights? Lmk and I'll venmo you!
Things that have elevated an unboxing experience for me personally:
1) The box itself. House of CB is a British brand that sends all their items in a beautiful gift box secured with ribbon (ribbon in general elevates the experience imo). I have never thrown them away. After wearing their stuff, I put it back in the box and stack the pretty boxes in my closet. This is cool because I essentially get to re-live the unboxing experience every time I wear their pieces.
2) The garment being crisply folded/pressed.
3) If the item is wrapped in paper, the paper is custom to the brand or secured with a custom sticker. Courtgirl came in custom tennis wrapping paper that I had a hard time throwing away.
4) The experience of the unboxing fits the theme of the item. For example, party supplies from Oh Happy Day came in a box with a sticker on the outside that said “the party has arrived” and when I opened it, there was a ton of confetti.
5) Gucci had a custom print covering the entire inside of their cardboard boxes. I’ve never seen anyone do that before.
6) Free tote with the order (bonus points if it was never mentioned). Done by Archive the Label (first order only) and Gucci.
What’s the timeline for the sunglasses looking like?
They are in transit to the warehouse right now

Yup, I agree. This is the next big step I think. Setup / design will be a pretty big chunk of upfront capital cost (worth it IMO)

Love to hear this! -- I have 4 colors of a new coaster ready to go in the warehouse. Just need to figure out how to release them
More graphic stickers please!
Working on it!!

What is the expected pricing for the wallets?
Im not too sure tbh... it's so early. The biggest factors will be leather cost + labor cost
