Been reading these since the start. I’d say in a way you transferred this page to your YouTube videos to me at least. it’s the same behind the scenes very raw content of a brand you’ve seen start up from scratch. Some people like to read others like to watch either way I feel like I’m getting the same type of content.
I guess that is a good way of putting it. For me, the longer form "episode" style videos are not only very fun to make but also feel like a huge leap in production quality for us as a smaller brand.
The idea is that every 2 weeks a new, almost, tv show style video comes out for people to watch etc.
Loved reading this. We did a similar thing (Aussie brand owner) had some frustrating superficial errors, called them the “the beautiful mistake”. Almost did better than our original product.
Read this after purchasing one of your discounted hoodies and Im a first responder in NY and I can agree that sometimes you have to go with your “gut” feeling when operating with emergency situations so glad you guys sold them I got mine and its nearly perfect thank you!
Building on Luis' point, these posts give me insight into your real-time thoughts and forward planning. They get me excited about what's to come, especially when it comes to rewarding loyal customers with content that is nuanced and layered. A different type of connection than youtube. Since some videos are filmed well in advance and posted weeks or more later, as you mentioned, we get a glimpse of what's happening through Minted's Instagram or your stories, almost experiencing it in real-time already - partial duplicative.
Honestly loving the transparency and opportunities Minted consistently provides its supporters. Other brands/designers could stand to learn a thing or two from Minted’s ability to seek and recognizing how to turn any negative situation into a positive experience for everyone and not just a select few. We’re here for the long haul!
I know you guys were thinking about a loyalty program or something similar. Maybe this will help jumpstart those future iterations
We definitely need a way to reward the community. I agree with this
I'm glad you decided to still put these up for sale. I'm stoked to rock an "imperfect" Minted OG Run Club hoodie!
I'm glad we could give them a new useful life
Been there w this before ! What terms did th factory give you in return ?
Nothing - totally cooked lol
