The apple concept is great I have the perfect spot on my wall to display the box but on the other hand in terms of it being a keepsake I like the subway concept more ( a little more rearranging of my shelves and it would look lovely). I feel like there is more to be explored with the subway concept (having different subway numbers/stickers) than a painting of an apple. The idea of the sticker being different colors could be pursued but I have no idea what that would mean in terms of manufacturing though or if that is too much of an ask.
When I'm feeling this type of stress on my back I try to hit the sauna or a heating pad, stretch and roll out the area! It makes my back feel better within hours.
On another note: I hope you have a great week! Cant wait for more releases in the future :) you guys are one of my top brands I love to buy from!
I am super tired and barely conscious writing this comment but I am Team Apple!! I like this one better than the subway, only because I think the premise of this one is more sophisticated. But the subway one has a lot of potential if done well.
I have some lower back stretches that I swear by. I don’t know if you regularly stretch your lower back, but I know if I don’t, I get a similar feeling to the one you described. One good stretch might loosen everything up and fix it instantly.
I think both designs of the box are brilliant! They both offer an immersive unboxing experience, which is incredible and rare. Your thought process behind this reminds me of Phil Knight's (that he talks about in Shoe Dog), how he liked the orange box for Nike because it stood out from the rest. I think the art aspect of this box is awesome for this same reason, for you can almost just appreciate the box as an item, let alone the kicks inside.
Plus, as someone who works in a Trader Joe's, you've nailed the apple sticker/grocery design. The sticker has become one of my favorite spins on an everyday item that so many wouldn't think twice about, until now. Same with the shoe box you guys are developing.
Did you look at foam net sleeves instead of bubble wrap? I always remember getting apples in them as a kid

I absolutely love the still life shoe box. Excellent work lads, so excited for the release!
