Yeah pretty much all cash is rolled back into the growth of the businesses. I have some equity positions that are 30+ year plays. I will use covered call options as a way to generate cash to further reduce my dollar cost average in those holdings
I'm interested in what caused that super rapid increase in price of overseas shipping the past maybe six months. Taking me back to junior year AP Econ.
Yeah I think they have no choice. The amount of money printed in the last 2 years has been insane. Stuck between a rock and a hard place with Fed policy now..
I guess nobody REALLY knows... but operators have their ear to the ground in their respective sectors. I'd say it's probably close... not perfect, but close

Pretty much a product of the Covid supply chain squeeze. Has been fascinating to watch it play out / affect us in our day to day operation
What intrigues me is the fact that the overseas transport has clearly been impacted the most compared to the others. Gets me thinking yk.
